On tap @ Amundsen Bryggeri og Spiseri, Oslo. Deep coppery amber body, small white head. Nose is strawberry, kiwi, apricot, pineapple (first time in a beer!), dried apples and honey melon. Damn, this is the fruitiest beer I’ve ever smelled; the esters are all over the place and I feel like I’m hovering my nose above a large platter of assorted fruits. Very, very nice. Taste is almost as fruity; apricot, strawberry, kiwi, hints of grass, hay and traces of dusty hops. This is a beer that actually pulls off tasting almost as fruity as the aroma, which is very rare and a huge plus in my book. Moreover, it it well balanced, not too sweet and utterly drinkable. The best surprise from Amundsen yet, and props to the Ægir crew who undoubtedly had more than one finger in the process. On tap at Amundsen. Copper bronze colour with a medium big head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of pine and spices. Some sweet malt notes as well. Flavour is mildly hoppy and bitter. 16.10.2011. On tap at Amundsen. Dark Golden brown colour with offwhite head. Strong aromas of aromatic fruity hops. Malty with caramel sweetness. Smooth and soft with moderate bitterness. Very good beer.

Fruity aroma from the hops, with some sugary notes.
Taste is mostly caramel, blended with hops, and some yeast. Peppery and dry finish.

On tap at Amundsen. Pours deep amber with a big white head. Aroma of red fruity hops. Taste of nutty malts with a fair amount of fruity hops towards the end. Lingering bitter aftertaste, with a nice tail of pepper mint.

Two tasters on tap at Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri. Clear and deep amber body colour. Fading head, fragile lacing. Aroma of resinous hops. Partially tart oranges in flavour offset by sweet malts. Tap @ Amundsen, Oslo. This one pours a clear light copper-brown body with a nice dense off-white head. The aroma is kinda caramel-sweet, some candy, light fruity and hints of that yeasty-fruity profile I often find in Amundsens beers. Soft to average carbonation, medium-bodied and it has a light oily to sticky mouthfeel. Flavors have also a light sweet fudgy-caramel hint, some fruits in here absolutely and also some nice hops in the finish. Ends kinda spicy and light dry. Not bad at all.
