Bottle. An enormous fountain of black-brown froth - which prevents the emission of a lot of aromas. But all is revealed when one actually tastes the stuff: an accomplished hybrid of porter and bipa. Excellent stuff! gunnfryd (14892) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 19, 2015
Fonefan 201214. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, hop, chocolate, pine . Flavour is roasted malt, coffee, hop, chocolate, pine, citrus. Easy drinkable nice beer. Foffern (1879) - Bodø, NORWAY - JUN 18, 2015
Bottle at home. Pours a deep red brown to black color with a huge, light brown, compact head. Fruity and roasted aroma with tones of pine, flowers, peaches, chocolate, dried fruits, burned wood and nuts. The flavor is pretty roasted with more ash and roasted bred. The fruity hops are in the background as well with pine, grapefruit and grass and accelerates in the aftertaste. Has a silky mouth feel, medium body and a balanced bitterness. A well made BIPA where both the hops and roasted malt er equally represented. Well-balanced all the way. varanid99 (1214) - AUSTRALIA - APR 30, 2015
Black pour with a nice tan head. Malty, chocolate, a little coffee aroma. Taste is similar, a little sweet and roasty, bitter. Nice.
