Can you taste that hop oil slithering down the back of your throat? Can you smell that intense lupulin blast from the bottom of your glass? We turned the volume up to 10 and broke the speaker, our loudest beer buried in a mound of hoppy goodness. Think wet tropical grass, pineapple and mango freshness all crammed into this self-proclaimed hop bomb.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt (Pilsner), hops (Magnum, Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe), yeast.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of nice juicy citrus hops and a touch of biscuit malt behind. Taste follows, the most hoppy beer I've had yet in south Africa. Moderate bitterness, a bit of booze on the way down, very nice.

Can at home. Slightly hazy yellow with white head. Holy mackarels, that’s dank! Onion/marihuana smoothie with some pineapple rings slid on the side of the glass. Someplace beyond moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. This liquid tropical armpit went well with homemade pizza.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2018 330ml can. Clear pale golden with chumky head. Decent lacing. Aromas of sweet fruits, fresh orange, pineapple, cherries. Flavours of grapefruit, ripe pineapple, peaches, pine. Some body, but not really malty. Juicy with a pronounced bitterness. Great beer.

330ml Can: Pours a clear golden with frothy, off-white head. Lacing. Aroma of passion fruit and a slight guava note as well. Passion fruit, tropical fruit and a slight caramel on flavour with hints of fresh cut grass. Medium to light bodied, medium carbonated. Initial big bitterness fades slightly with a fairly dry finish. Overall a really nice blend of hop flavours and enough caramel maltiness to balance it out.

NO - Veldig god smak av mango og en forfriskende bitterhet setter seg i ganen. Smaken veier godt opp mot oppdriften som virker noe tam. Ellers godt øl. EN -Very good taste of mango and a refreshing bitterness settles in the palate. The taste weighs well against the buzz that seems somewhat tame. Otherwise good beer. DE -Sehr guter Mango-Geschmack und eine erfrischende Bitterkeit setzen sich am Gaumen ab. Der Geschmack wiegt gut gegen den etwas zahm wirkenden Buzz. Sonst gutes Bier.

330 ml can with 360 End bought at HK Brewcraft in Central.

Looks: Translucent golden honey colour with a cloud of misty yeast particles; One finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with notable slight carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant malt, with strong mango pulp, peaches, light candied fruits, floral, fructose, spices, strong pine, resins, biscuits, lemon and fresh grass.

Taste: Medium sweet rich malt, with tartness, mangoes, yellow fruits, fair grapefruits, floral, fair sugar, spices, strong pine, resins, strong dry biscuits, yeast, lemon, close to medium bitter hops and strong grass.

Body: Full body. Thick and fair oozy palate.

Mouth Feel: Rich maltyness in a solid and very creamy background. Very tropical hoppy with lots of nice grass and mangoes. Flowery with pretty strong sweetness. Spicy strong piney with somewhat lesser ooze. Dry biscuity with lemon to round. Refreshing!

Hoppiness: Strong mango pulp, peaches, light candied fruits, floral, spices, strong pine, resins, lemon and fresh grass in nose. Yellow fruits, mangoes, fair grapefruits, floral, spices, strong pine, resins, lemon and strong grass in taste; Bitterness is fairly strong for a lasting, fair to medium astringent sweet-bitter full malty finish.

After Taste: Very dry. Fruity grassy piney and fairly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one's has a very rich and creamy maltyness achieved without oats. Hops is more grassy tropical and piney aroma than the usual strong oozy bitterness, makes it very appealing to IPA first timers. very comforting to heart and refreshing to the nose, a nice one of course!

Clear golden colour with rocky white head. Aroma is like a bowl of fresh tropical fruit. Good medium-high levels of bitterness, exactly what I’m looking for in an IPA. Bitterness lingers in the finish. Very lively carbonation. Medium bodied. All round excellent IPA.
