Rune (12587) - Tromsř, NORWAY - AUG 29, 2012
250ml from tap at the brewpub. Creamy, off-white head blanketing the glass. Unclear dark apricot coloured body. Red oranges to the nose added by a spicy touch. Fine blend of red citrus fruits and caramel malts. Long-bitter tail, semi-dry. Hidden alcohol. Full bodied. Sits right (Oslo, 05.08.2012).

larsga (7508) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 13, 2012
Small white head. Hazy yellow body. Tropical fruit and kiwi aroma with mealy alcoholic notes. Dry-sweet resiny tropical fruit taste with mealy strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry resiny mango aftertaste with salty earthy notes. Nice, but a bit dense, salty, and sharp. (0.4l draft at brewpub.)

olsvammel (7216) - Örebro, SWEDEN - AUG 25, 2012
On tap at Amundsen. It poured a hazy golden liquid with a light brown note, dirty white head. Hops on the nose, some cat pee. Strong bitterness that lasts a long time. Some grassy hops and pine in the background. The bitterness took over to much, I wonder if this had gone old?

larsniclas (7037) - Billdal, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2016
Bottled from Systembolaget Amber with a medium head. Sweet and resinous aroma and flavour. High bitterness.

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 26, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Hazy light brown. Malty, light palate, the herbal hops creep in, minty. Bittersweet finish. Nice, but it fails to excite.

Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 24, 2012
In short: A problematic (phenolic, perfumy) Double IPA. A bad keg probably
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy glowing dark amber body topped by a large white-ish head with goo retention and leaving lots of lacings on the glass. Good looking beer.
In long: Nose is very scented/floral, borderline perfumy. Taste is excessively phenolic. Other than feeling like you’re chewing on hospital gloves, there is also a good amount of sweetness, crunchy cereals with residual sugars, floral hops, fruity/citrusy hops with flavor of orange flesh, notes of rubbing alcohol, annoying notes of perfume. Assertive bitterness. Phenolic after-taste. Something was wrong with this keg, impossible that this overwhelming amount of phenols wouldn’t throw off anybody. Too bad because I think the actual beer wasn’t all that bad. That phenolic plastic flavor made the beer flavors feel as artificial and fake as when I smile and say hi to the office cleaning lady.

13.08.2014, tap @ Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, winegum, cardboard, wet hops, dried fruits, wet grass, butterscotch, caramel malts. Taste is slightly sweet concentrated grassy, harsh hops, wet grass, cardboard, alcohol, pine needles, minerals, sugar, dried fruits, winegum, butterscotch, old leafs. Longlasting bitterness, dry harsh grassy and mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!

ClubGonzo (5668) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 10, 2012
On tap @ Amundsen, Oslo. Hazy pale orange body, small white head. Aroma is herbs, syrupy malt tones, hints of pine and resin. Taste is bitter herbal hop tones, caramel, hints of resin and peaches. OK, but lacks dimensional depth and is far from great.

visionthing (5289) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 29, 2012
On tap at Amundsen. Hoppy and fruity aroma with lots of tropical fruit (peach), caramel, malt and a hint of citrus. Sweet and fruity with a nice bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Almost tutti-frutti flavor, a bit too much for my taste, but still quite nice. Bitter and citric finish and aftertaste.

thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2012
On tap at Amundsens Bryggeri. Fruity hop nose folkowed by quite bitter flavours. Drinkable, but not very original.
