On tap @ Uber. Pours reddish brown with thin oily head. Aroma is sweet and seriously nose puckering sour. Taste is sour cherries, light brown sugar, rich caramel malt, dark plum fruit, with a hint of bourbon on the finish. Not crazy strong, but a bit hot for only 7.8%. The sour part is there, this is just a touch out of balance. Lots of promise - I will definitely seek these guys out again.

Taste strong sour, lactic tart, vinegar, citrus, tangerine, smokey, very sour

On tap at Brouwer’s Big Wood 2013, listed as "Dubbel Barrel Critters." Ruby red -- very pretty pour. Tart cherries, funk, and it’s a bit fuzzy -- just the way I like them. Draft at uber. Pours a clear dark brown with bright burgundy highlights. Loose tan rim. Huge sharp balsamic nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Huge dark heavy plums and piercing balsamic mid palate. Lingering tart finish.
