omhper (25108) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 22, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy amber. Strong grapefruit aroma. Sweet with firm body. The massive hoppiness covers the syrupy mouthfeel well, and the bitterness it creates keeps lingering on. A solid IPA.

Draught at Island Café, Oak Harbor
Cloudy amber color with large head. Not much aroma, but the flavor is malty, and it’s well hoppy.

mcberko (17820) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 11, 2010
Sampled at GCBF ’10, pours orangey amber with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops and caramel malts to balance. Flavour is more dominated by the malts with the hops kicking in later on. Not bad.

Very cloudy beige - first pull off the cask. Massive dry hop aroma, but different than the standard PNW fare....this one includes Simcoe for starters. The aroma is bright and fruity, evocative of peaches, papaya and light grapefruit. The body is lean with a bracing grapefruit bitterness, but then a late sweetness comes in. The standard for IPAs is so high in Washington state you can hardly go wrong.

Hazy orange color, small white head. Strong aroma of grapefruit, pineapple and pine needles. Medium to full-bodied. Good bitter grapefruity flavor with some resiny notes and tropical fruits. Excellent hoppy IPA!

Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. The beer is a slightly cloudy orange-amber color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Hops, malt and citrus in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, sweet malt and citrus. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
