Not a bad brew. Had at Fred's Alehouse. Decent but somewhat short lived head. Golden and very clear. More hoppy than the aroma would lead one to believe. I am a bit surprised reading some of the other ratings of this beer. Maybe I just got a good one??
On tap at Rockfish Grill / Anacortes Brewery, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of light grass and straw. Flavour is clean, with notes of straw and a little grass. Clean and well-balanced - decent pils. fiulijn (20492) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 1, 2014

Blond color with large head. A sweetish version of Pilsner, not very hoppy, too simple.
Draft at sb. Pours a clear medium gold. Headless. Big plastic phenolic nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Plastic phenolic mid palate with a little toasted malt. Bit of a disappointment. hayduke (5204) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 26, 2011
On tap at the brewpub this came in the glass a deep gold color with a white head. The nose is mild and is largely saaz hoppiness. Body light and mouthfeel thin. The flavor is floral hops with some graininess. The finish is lightly bitter. Solid example of the style. 22415brewery (379) - Washington, USA - FEB 4, 2011
Saaz and doughy aroma. Pours brilliant and bright, thin quickly dissipating head. Crackers and light grassiness in aroma. Well balanced yet lacking in malt richness. Finish is a bit weak and could use more malt backbone and slightly higher carbonation. Missing that melanoidin rich character. Otherwise a drinkable Bopils and a good showing for a place that focuses on ale production.

On tap at the brewpub/restaurant pouring up deep gold with micro thin white head. The aroma is mild and is largely noble like hoppiness. The taste is floral, some spicy hops and a moderate level of malts to grainy like malts. I love the balance where the hops are punchy and crisp and remain out of reach of the sweet maltiness. I get a pleasing floral to spicy hop flavor lingering into the after taste. Darn hoppy and darn tasty pils. Nice job. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2009

Appearance: hazy copper, wispy white head, streaks of drippy lace
Aroma: light malt aroma
Flavor: sweet malt flavor, light spicy hops, nice cereal character
Overall: darker and stronger malt than a typical pils and that’s a good thing

Golden with a light head. Smells like a pils. Grass with some underlying sweetness. The flavor is pretty damn grassy with not much else. Clean, crisp, boring. Hawksfan17 (890) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 20, 2008
This amber gold pour smells of grain. It tastes generic, light and was very watery. As I find out with all theirs beer, warm and watery are the signatures. CapFlu (5127) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 11, 2008
(Draught) Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival 2008 in Victoria, September 2008. Pours a lasting yellow head atop a clear amber body. Nose is clean but I detected a butteryness to it. Additionally, I found it somewhat bland. 5/3/4/2/9
