A hazy good coloured beer with a frothy but lasting white head. The aroma is a boozy fruity affair, dried fruit and candied peel, plus a bready caramel element. Dry mouthfeel. The taste carries on with the huge boozy element from the aroma. A big fruit loaf flavour, raisiny and candied fruit with a sweetish bready caramel flavour coming through. There is a background hop bitterness that brings in a zestiness to the finish. Thompson (707) - - FEB 19, 2015

Bottle @ weekly tasting @ home. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Smells malts and slightly too much annoying esters. Tastes malts, old, slightly cardboard. Medium body, soft carbo. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2015
Bottle. Amber reddish beer with a light head and a fairly carbonated body. The aroma is malty with some fruitiness, and the flavour is very malty and yeasty with a good degree of bitterness. Overall an average beer, really too strongly flavoured to be a smooth drinking lager.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of wet straw and herbs. Favour of corn, grass, earth and sponge cake. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Not bad, perhaps a bit on the sweet side. tommann (3754) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2014
330ml bottle. Pours dark orange gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet, rubbery orange squash with a touch of alcohol. Taste is rubbery and sweet, touch of corn and a little citrus. Marginally better than a cold can of spesh.
