COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crisp and fresh, Blonde Star is light in body but certainly not in flavour. Brim full of lemon, grapefruit, passion fruit and pale malt. Refreshing and satisfying, this was our first beer and it’s still our biggest seller. Available in cask and bottle.

500ml bottle. Light straw colour with a small head. Very mild aroma with not much in it. Flavours of honey, citrus, perhaps a little apple, but all these are pretty mild. Doesn’t blow you away to begin but then the hops kick in and they give a robust and satisfyingly bitter satisfying finish. Low to moderate carbonation, pretty smooth. A good session pale ale, I think.

Can contributed by lead trumpet player OE at OSB 11.10.17. Hazy pape straw colour. Foamy, dense and persistent white head and lacing. Aroma of grains, biscuits and malt. Taste of pale malt, peach, grass and succade. Dry

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light caramel malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, dry malt, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330 ml can, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.1%. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Citrussy / lemony aroma. Citrussy flavour, crisp and medium dry, fairly well hopped, light bodied and refreshing. Easy drinking, but not a particularly outstanding beer. Will I buy it again? I doubt it, but if you are buying, I am willing to drink it.

weordie (1427) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2017
Pours golden with a fluffy head. Aroma is that corn, wheat aroma you associate with a mass produced lager. Flavour is the same too, this is more of a lager just with a bit of a creamier palate. Not a beer I’d ever have again.

(Anarchy Blonde Star) Can 330ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 4.1%
Deep orange colour on the body, mostly clear, with a huge but thin white head on top.
Aroma of malts, faint citrusy hops, grass.
Taste has more, citrus, lemon flowers, some caramel malts.
Medium thin body, soft carbonation.
Good.

Benzai (16751) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2017
Can @ "Benzai is zo dood als een pier tasting". Clear golden color, huge white head. Smell and taste malts, a hint of hop, lightly a hint of fruit, decently bitter. Decent body and medium carbonation. Ok.

Can @ benzai. Clear golden colour with a medium to large white head. Smells malty. Tastes like a light pale lager. Thin body, soft carbo.

Towey1989 (3324) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2017
Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, a hint of passionfruit, some cereal malts and subtle vegetle, grassy hops. Taste of lemon, some grapefruit, slight passionfruit, cereal malts and subtle spicy, grassy hops. Light bodied and soft soft carbonation. A soft, dry, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. An ok golden ale, some citrus, fruit and a nice, light bitterness to end. Boring from this brewery but I’m guessing it’s their standard golden ale.

DruncanVeasey (8326) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2017
Bottle, April 2016. Solid grass and pine nose dabbed with honey. Murky gold with a dense lacing foam. Honeycomb front overtaken by mellow grass and lemon shavings. Soft condition and finish. Herbal, honey-thick lager. Not bad.

JohnRMurdoch (5085) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - NOV 4, 2016
Cask @ Hippo Taproom. Golden amber, reasonable head. Biscuit resin malt aroma. Smooth creamy cereal flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Decent golden ale.
