Sweet, toasted, dark malts, light chocolate, coffee, sweet, dark fruits. Hazy brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. Dark, toasted malts, lightly smoked bacon, sweet, dark fruits, dried prunes, sweet coffee, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Alright, nothing too spectacular though. Cask at CBC, Covent Garden.

Cask at Catford Constitutional. It pours dark brown with medium beige head. The aroma is quite sweet, toasty malt, earth, spice, cacao, raisin, burnt cookies and toffee. The taste is bitter, charred wood, roasted malt, burnt toast, tar, drief fruits, fruit cake, spice, pepper, dark fruits and rum with a bitter, burnt spice finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit all over the place. Not great.

Pint Euston tap. Tastes like Hershey's chocolate. Not unpleasant but not Cadbury's. Obviously not strong enough either. Fine enough.

[Copenhagen 2017] Thanks to yespr! Sampled draft @ Taphouse. Dark brown, blackish, little tanned head. Nose is liquorice, syrup, mocha, basic chocolate. Taste is liquorice, candy, bit cough syrup, Christmas spice. Herbal & sugar body. Quite fair, neat.

joergen (29611) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2017
Draught at Taphouse. Clear dark brown colored with a small off-white head. Light roasted aroma of caramel with notes of christmas spices. Light roasted flavor of licorice and christmas spices Sorry finish.

DruncanVeasey (8426) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2017
Hardly. Well-behaved pale ruby collared with beige. Aroma of hop-driven juicy blackcurrant and cranberry with a generous smattering of clove. Not getting much anarchy or chaos but a steady, agreeable contemporary dark beer with moderately roasted nut, coffee and Hobnob notes, restrained blackcurrant hop (possibly US), dark berries and oodles of clove. Pretty mainstream stuff like a BC bitter with clove esters or biscuity dunkelweizen. Bottle at home, 15/02/16.

lmojoh (1090) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 23, 2016
Flaske via DjOeye. Aroma malt, krydder, tørr duft. Utseende uklar mørk brun med offwhite skum som daler fort. Smak malt, røykpreg, krydder. Vassen, lett og litt kjedelig øl
