Pours very dark with garnet reflections, little off white head. short retention, poor lacing.Coffee, roasty nose. Medium to light body, average carbonation, oily texture.Taste is coffee, roasty, burnt caramel, a bit watery.
Cask, 1/2 pint, hand-pulled at State Bar, Glasgow on 5 Dec 2016, roast, coffee malt aroma, blood red deep chestnut with a thin beige head and patterned lacing, coffee, creamy, good carbonation, bitter coffee malt aftertaste.
