Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Black with a small off-white head. You can tell immediately from its aroma that it will be strong tasting - and it is. There is however some milky roasted malts evident in its taste.

Big coffee and chocolate nose. To taste this is very nicely balanced breakfast stout. Coffee, chocolate and dark malts compliment each other very well and the alcohol level is low enough not to add any boozy burn. Very well crafted although will keep my eye out for variants of this as I feel it would benefit with a few months on wood.

On tap at Samo Pivo pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Pours black color, persistent tan head. Nose: bitter chocolate, burnt malts. Not a blast. Mouth: extremely dry, far too bitter. A bit unbalanced but tasty in a way. Not terrific, not much of a stout requirements. Ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
