Bottle at home, from my Minneapolis Town Hall glass. Pours deep clear chestnut brown, very deep and reddish colour. Thin off-white head, great lacing. Nose is toasty, with red rope licorice, cherry bark, light roast, and smoke. Flavours of red candies, rubber, smoke, light fruit, big Dutch licorice note. Pours dark hazy red-brown color with me head. Aroma of malts, caramel, some chocolate notes and hints of nuts. Flavour of malts, caramel, ripe fruit notes and some dark berries. Quite traditional brown ale.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at Gomers in Lees Summit, Missouri. 2AD (Bottled on April 4, 2012) perforated stamp on the label. The pour is light haze brown copper with a two inch light tan head that is quite lasting. The aroma is fruit caramel sweet malt, along with a touch of yeastiness. The taste is nutty malt, only a bit of the malt fruit sweetness of the nose, along with sort of an off grain flavor. Botella. Deep brown colour, beige head. Sweet toasty malty caramel fruity hoppy aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour is malty toasty with caramel, bit toffee, citrus fruity hopoiness and with a medium bitterness.
