COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To commemorate an important milestone in Anchor Brewing’s long history, a special ale seemed appropriate. Having found and experimented with a very rare and unusual hop variety called Nelson Sauvin, we knew that its unique character would impart a wonderful flavor and aroma to a pale ale brewed especially for the occasion: Humming Ale.

Tap@ De Klep. Donkergeel/oranje kleur, licht troebel, mooie kraag.

Golden color with a stable, moderate off-white head. Just a couple speckles of lace. Hops seem to dominate the aroma with grapefruit and bits of pine. Flavors scream Anchor Brewery. House flavor/yeast with a doughy malt flavor. Some mild apricot flavors. Finish is rather sharp with grapefruit zest and hint of resin. An interesting version of the original. 7/10

Bottle - Clear golden, orangeish colour with a decent frothy off-white head. Nose is grapefruit, pine, biscuit and toffee. Nice malty taste balancing the american hops. Medium body, lively carbonation and dry, hoppy finish.

Diferente y estupenda.

335 ml bottle @ Konttori
Orange clear beer with white head. Aroma has honey, pineapple, flowers and glue. Flavor has honey, bitter caramel and flowers. Palate is medium full with quite strong carbonation. Finish has medium bitterness. Aftertaste has caramel, honey, grapefruit and pine. Too honeyish and flowery for me.

Alto drinkability.
