Dark golden, tall off-white lasting head. Grapefruit aroma. Good carbonation. Floral/ hoppy flavour with some underlying malty sweetness. They got that one just right...

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2005 A very good pale ale. Taste is dominated by hops. Bitter but pleasant. A good example of an American Pale Ale.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2017 Bottled and tap. Hazyorange body with an average off-white head. Plenty of fruit in the aroma with some hoppiness. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and decent bitter. A very drinkable APA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Clear deep amber, moderate bubbly head. Immediate hop nose which continues into a floral hop flavor and finish. Little overhoped but better than most american pale ales that get out of control.

A cloudy, orangish color. Spicy and citrusy aroma. Nice malty, full bodied texture. Very hoppy and very nice.

One of my favorite ales. Nice hop-malt balance. A little on the strong side, just dont drink too much.

Delicious. A good summer beer, due to its refreshing hops factor. Id love to sip this beer on the beach. Just the right amount of body lets this beer go down smooth.

Medium amber with a light haze and a creamy head that lasted and laced. Weak & grainy aroma with a touch of rye. Sweetly malted with honey moving to a decidedly bitter and lemony finish. Mouthfeel was creamy yet a little sugary, but that felt better here than if it were too thin.

Bottle. Hazy orange pour, with a slight head. Dry hoppy aroma with some citrus aspects lingering. Very dry mouthfeel, bordering on dusty. In fact, it just crossed that border, very dusty. Like I said in a previous rating, Im not a big fan of APAs, and this one seems rather run of the mill.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2013 Ill take mine more like a Sierra Nevada than this one. Cant put my finger on it - perhaps its the sweetness. Its thin and acidy and I dont like the way Anchor beers carbonation work.
