I liked it but am still getting used to higher end beers. The tastes are so much more complicated, it might take me more time to truly appreciate them.

Just as good as any of the anchor steam beers...............................

Not too shabby. Not one of those beers that makes me think about it all the time like Guinness, but not bad. Refreshing.

A little on the skunky side. If the hops were toned down a bit it probably would'nt be that bad.Besided it's nice golden color it really falls short.

Anchor Liberty is one of my favorites. This is the best American microbrewed ale. No question. Very hoppy, crispy and full palate. Wonderful with food. Expensive, but worth it every once in a while.

Yet again Anchor serves up quality - bought this along with the Christmas Ale on my recent trip to the beer store - Appearance - the head is a warming introduction - impeccable quality about all Anchor beers is the tight, foamy and enduring head. Taste - hops on hops - to me this tastes better than SNPA - but only slightly. Overall - I tend towards more malty brews, but I do have a hoppier beer from time to time - this would have to be the beer of choice, - only bad thing is its limited in availability and costs $8.99 a six!

Weak color and aroma really distract from this beer. ......................
