More subtle than I was expecting but very nice. Better on a baking hot day I expect. Citrus and honey on the nose. Subtle malts and bitter hops taste, quite thin-bodied.

0.355l bottle from Csakajósör. Nice persistent off-white head, floral, yeasty aroma, with some citrus in the background. Taste is complex, bittersweet, sweetness is coming more from fruitiness than from malt, though. Palate is relatively strong, lively carbonation. Mildly bitter aftertaste. This is an APA with some Belgian influence, quite good.

Bottle. Clear golden with white head. Hoppy. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and floral/herbal. Malty backbone. Light notes of spicy yeast. Starts light sweet and finish medium bitter. Light and juicy. Decent.

Pours a golden orange color. About two fingers or more thick white head. Long lasting head. Good retention, okay lacing.

Aroma is very floral. Some earthy. It smells great, although really too good. It’s almost like lotion or something.

Taste is light, floral, hoppy bitter. I can’t really taste anything, it’s so aromatic, it takes away from the flavor.

Mouthfeel is medium light. Drinkability is very high, but there so much going on in the aroma it detracts from everything else.

Overall, tone down the aroma. I’ve had beets that smelled so bad they were almost undrinkable. The reverse is true here. It’s hard to drink because it smells so good. Maybe after a few more things will change. It’s good. I’d buy it again, and It makes a great gift.

A bottle at Bar Eleven, near Tai Power station. Aroma: fruity and hoppy, very inviting. Appearance: opaque amber with disappointingly negligible head, although the bottle was certainly not out of date. Palate: light-bodied but with satisfying texture, soft carbonation. A long bitter finish, with a satisfying hit of alcohol at the end. Taste: dry, heavily bitter, pepper from the alcohol. A well-crafted beverage, reminds me of ’Proper Job’ from home.

12 oz can pours a clear light amber color with lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma has bready malts and citrus hops. Taste is on the bitter side, with nuts and biscuits coming out in the finish. Body is medium with light carbonation. Easily drinkable and well balanced.

Piwo legenda.
