COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Liberty IPA is our reimagining of craft-brew classic Liberty Ale, envisioned through the lens of todays IPAs. We first brewed Liberty Ale in 1975, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Paul Reveres midnight ride. This revolutionary forerunner of the modern IPA introduced America to the Cascade hop and the nearly lost art of dry-hopping. Like its predecessor, Liberty IPA is made with two-row pale malt and Cascade hops. It is the combination of Cascade with new hop varieties that creates the mouthwateringly complex and robust aromas of pine and citrus in this crisp, American-style IPA.

Bottle from Pacific Grove Trader Joes for $1.42. Translucent yellow-orange pour with an inch white hear. Aroma flowery (Jasmine perhaps) citrus perfume. Pretty clean IPL like flavor including light bread, pine, citrus pith, tangerine, sweet lemon, and a bit of white sugar along with a moderate to moderate heavy level of bitterness. Body is light medium and so is level of carbonation.

Exceptionally clean biscuit malt aroma with light wood and dry leaf notes. Slightly hazy The flavor is just like the aroma with a solid toasted malt body. Dry and green leaf bitterness rises up and slowly provides balance to the malt. This bitterness builds as it goes and clearly makes this an American style IPA even though it seems to begin as a more English style. Theres some subtle lemon and citrus rind in the background. Finishes dry and lightly spicy with more dry/green leaf bitterness. This is a very tasty and very drinkable IPA that like Anchors steam beer seems to be a style all its own.

12 oz bottle. Pours deep golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head, nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and some fruit. Body is full and crisp. Piney, citrusy hops dominate the palate with bready malt and ripe fruit in the background. Finish is long and hoppy. Good brew.

Pours clear, bubbly solar yellow with a thick and rather persistent ivory head. Aroma delivers typical but enjoyable resiny hop character with a citrus underpinning. Flavor presents hoppy, resiny and citrus tones, average though tasty. Mouthfeel offers fair-to-middlin body and fizz. Typical but a good drink. Enjoy it with lunch, or a game on TV.

Lightlybhazy golden with a thin sticky lightly off white head. Big earthy but citrusy hop nose that kinda features a little lime and pine. Crisp leafy hop flavor thats brisk and lightly bitter but pleasantly lime zesty. Gently earthy but clean and balanced.

355ml bottle. Pours a honey color, nice foamy white head. Nice looking brew. Aroma is sweet herbs, orange, honey, floral, fruit. Smells fresh and pleasant. Flavor is acidic and tart, medium bitterness, especially in the finish. It is peppery, piney, tart, mint, malt flavor but not much sweetness, some esters. This is a nice brew.
