Dark brown pour with a red glow and thin tan layer of a head. Roasted malts up front for aroma. Also caramel, coffee beans, and hoppiness in there too, along with brown breadcrust and burnt popcorn kernel. Over medium bitterness, soft to medium sweet. Medium body with the same Co2. Extremely tasty porter. Haven't figured out all the aromas it's throwing at me. pappabear (23) - Granbury, Texas, USA - NOV 22, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2017 Pours black coffie with 2 fingers of tan head. Excellent lacing. Smells sweet malted barley and caramel. Taste is malty with mild bitter hops finish. ABV is a bit low for a porter but its a good beer. Sergant (8) - - NOV 19, 2017 does not count
Very good Porter. Nice choice.
My recommendation to try with dry meat. Our company prefer such a dark beer.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 weak aroma of roasted malt, coffee, some caramel. Taste of coffee, cocoa beans and dominating roast malt. Bitter dark roast coffee finish. Bill Becker (2050) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 25, 2017
From Jun 2007
Purchased at Liquor Shed in Casper.
This pours from 12oz bottle a very dark brown with a small tannish head of foam. It shrinks to an island in the middle and it has good lacing.
The smell has a lot of chocolate and sweet malt with just a whiff of some hoppy goodness.
The taste is very big and very nice. I get a lot of chocolate and roasted malt and some good coffee notes as well. Smooth yet full flavoured. Swishing the beer in my mouth, I get a more pronounced hop bitterness that really balances and goes well with the sweet start that I got. Man...this is a *great* Porter. The mouthfeel is elegant and the carbonation is just right and the finish has a nice bitter zing to it. I haven't bought a sixer of this in years and that makes me shake my head in disbelief.
Bottom line: This is a world class American Porter that just about anyone can find in the US. Highly recommended!!

Aromat mocno kawowy i czekoladowy. W smaku głównie mleczna czekolada i suszone owoce, fajnie się zestarzał. FireGlider (735) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 21, 2017

Sort og lidt tyk i det.
Karamel og malt i næsen.
Sødme, bitterhed og fylde i munden.
En af de bedste porter til dato. efeesse (641) - Praha, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 14, 2017
