COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
San Franciscos famous Anchor Porter brand is made in one of the smallest and most traditional breweries in the world by the brewers of Anchor Steam Beer. Our old-fashioned Porter is virtually handmade, with an exceptional respect for the ancient art of brewing. We use 100% malted barley, generous amounts of fresh, whole hops, entirely natural carbonation and a simple, natural brewing process which is like no other in the world. The deep black color, the thick, creamy head and the intensely rich flavor of Anchor Porter, made in San Francisco since 1974, have earned this delicious and unique brew a worldwide reputation for outstanding quality. It is aesthetically pleasing and wholly superior in every respect.

Bottle from Rai Wines, Harborne, Birmingham. Little aroma, but some choc. Jet black and a nice beige head, displaying a rocky personality. Amazing, fabulous smooth coffe cream taste. This is a brilliant, rounded pint - sweet smooth, creamy, balanced. All the flavours are in there, and there is a nice hint of bitterness in the mouthfeel. Top notch.

330 ml bottle, Bucharest, Bistro GUXT. Black and opaque.Nice tan head, good retention, lot of lacing. Aroma is coffee and chocolate, burnt sugar, some smokyness, roasted bread and roasted nuts, dark fruits. Really nice, balanced and complexe. Taste is mostly bitter with some roasted and smoked hints, saltiness. Also hints of caramel, dark fruits and roasted nuts, some herbs. Light carbonation and average corpolence., long aftertaste, bitter-sweet with salty hints. Very nice beer, I am really impressed. Well ballanced, easy to drink, light but in the same time complexe and refined. Ill drink this beer anytime again.

Czarna, nieprzejrzysta barwa. Piękna drobnopęcherzykowa piana zdobi szkło. Aromat niezbyt intensywny, głwnie palone słody, lekka czekolada. W smaku dość wytrawnie, deserowa czekolada, lekka kawa i przypieczony karmel.

18.11.2016 - Almost black pour with coffee creamy beige head. Instant aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Taste is the same together with some fresh fruit notes hiding behind this semi creamy and therefore freshly carbonated mouthfeel and roast malt body. Great porter
