Bottled. Pale yellow. Light bodied and smooth with notes of vanilla. Unspectacular. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 3, 2002
Faint sweet aroma, clean wheat flavor. It's nothing special, even a trifle light, but it's a good easy beer that'd taste great on a hot summer day. hopdog (13200) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 22, 2004
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2004 On tap. Poured a light yellow with a white head. Subtle aromas and tastes of wheat, fruits and lemons. Thinner body. Nothing special about this one. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

slightly cloudy yellow, good head, some lace, generally flavorless with just a touch of hops at the aftertaste
Aroma: 2/10; Appearance: 5/10; Flavor: 2/10; Palate: 2/10; Overall: 5/20

Pours golden and clear with a fizzy head. Smells of caramel, some wheat, hints of underlying sweetness. Tastes crisp and dry with just a hints of underlying sweetness but otherwise not much else to speak of. Mouthfeel is thin with a finish that is crisp. Inoffensive and bland compared to just about all their other offerings.

Golden color with a tall long lasting head. Wheat malt and bittering hops aroma. Lifeless wheat malt/biscuit flavor that finishes overpoweringly bitter. Not a flavorful bitterness a caffine type bitterness. A honey type dry finish. Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 13, 2005
I can see why Anchor retired this one, a so-so ale with little but its creamy thick head to redeem it. The aroma is a soft caramel and wheat, a little musty. Thin and slightly oily to the palate, the flavor is mildly sweet wheat with a modest bitter, sour finish. I don’t know where the folk at Sal’s found this, but they could have kept it hidden for my visit.oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2005

Pours a hazy golden yellow. Aroams of bread, fruit and spices. Flavors of orange, spice and some hints of citrus hop. FlacoAlto (4228) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - AUG 16, 2003
UPDATED: APR 23, 2006 Brilliantly clear beer. Smells lightly wheaty with a bit of grain in the nose. Very clean tasting with a light sweetness that finishes the beer off. A bit of wheat type grain flavor as well. Not too much to this beer, no flaws but not much character either.
