Taikurissa 1/2017. Very nice, full-bodied warming dark wheat beer. Malty and enjoyable. Erasmus_ro (3199) - Alabama, USA - MAR 17, 2017
Bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a large, latte-colored head. Aroma is chocolate, roast, dark fruit. Taste is slightly roasted, caramel, spice, slight chocolate, dark fruit. Smooth. Rather stout-like. Not much in the way of a dunkelweizen here. Perhaps a dunkelweizenbockish beer? Turboninja (859) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 26, 2017

, from Alko Sokos, Tampere, Finland. Medium aroma with sweet, dark fruits, chocolate and some alcohol bite. Black color with small, light beige head. Medium, balanced taste with dark fruits and chocolate, lightly roasted malts, some wheat and a hint of nuts. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with sweetish malts. Medium body with log/medium carbonation. Overall, wheat doesn’t feel so much, but still strong and balanced product.

Once again Anchor Brewing doesn’t disappoint. Wheat beers aren’t my favorite, but this is one enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Black in color with a tan head. Sweet dark fruits, mild roasted notes in aroma. Some cocoa too. The wheat appears later on, very mild though. Sweet malty tast, some chocolate as well. Bit dry. Light spicy finish. In a blindtasting I would have guessed this to be somekind of Belgian dubbel with a small wheaty twist. Dried dark sweet fruity aftertaste. ansalon (4147) - Stockholm, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2016
