Pours very dark brown with a low tan head. Aromas of cherries, funk, almond, roasted oak, plum, slight sherry notes. Taste is cherries, funk, almond, plum, slight vanilla and plum notes. Mouthfeel is quite astringent yet very smooth with soft carbonation. Very very good!

Deep rich red purple pour. Aroma is fantastic - nice vanilla coke aroma which grows as it warms. Wow! No cognac apparent here. Taste is woody cola with a mild sour; very oak strong in the taste without fruitiness or spirit. An interesting wild ale but not a classic.

Bottle to glass. Deep amber mahogany brown color with a thin light brown head quickly dissipating. Aroma is sour dark fruits, a finishing nose hard describe, but wonderful. Potently tart flavor, oily slightly flat body. The cognac definitely plays a part. Delicious and unique.

750 ml bottle. Pours a reddish color with a khaki head. Aroma of green apples, rubber bands, booze. Flavor is gross. Red wine, vinegar, booze, wood, rubber bands, green apple, tons of acid. Booze and acid is how I describe this. Slick mouthfeel. I had a solid 6 oz. pour of this and its almost unfinishable. This is gross. Not a good beer.

On tap at Crooked Stave (The Source). Deep reddish brown appearance with a lingering beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, oak, earth, funky yeast, sour notes and a touch of cognac. Similar flavor, sour, tart, funky, woody and fruity with a light puckering feel. Medium body with a lingering finish. Dank.

Draft on tap at The Source (Denver, CO). Pours a deep dark brown hue, some blackish depth with just a hint of ruby glow. Cakey frothy tannish head atop. Good stick around, lacing is ok and pretty. Aromas are a bit deep and dark, cherry, oak some carmelized malts. Gentle toast, spice and faint smokiness. Some funky brett, farmhouse and straw. Initial is a bit deadened, toasty and carmelized. Some sour dark fruit, black cherry and oak. Some earth, funk, and more oak. Firm wood influence, gentle spice. Middle is a bit more funky, brett and cobwebs with oak, basement and house yeast spice. Backend is a bit more tart but some bitterness comes in, earth and gentle sourness tapers out, tannic oak. Ok, a bit funky, the sourness never rally asserts with some solid red fruit influence. Nose a bit deadened.

Bottle cheers to Ladza. Pours muddy brown with a red hue and soft white head. Aroma of cherries, red wine, sour grapes, fruity oak, bit of vinegar, musk sticks, plenty of earthy bretty notes. Flavours are fucking insane. Tart cherries, musk, funky brett, lemon, cognac and a sharp, sweet oak. Astringent finish. Perfect amount of sourness. Yep.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2014 Bottle cheers to the main man Adza. Pours clearish light brown with a sticky khaki bunch of bubbles around the side. The nose gives off a load of acidity and dark fruits with plenty of dates and sticky raisin sweetness. The cognac shines nicely without over powering at all. The taste is another story. Layers and layers. Coganc gives it a slightly oily feel where the acidity cuts through perfectly. Raisin-like sweetness, mild orange juiciness. Plenty of mild spices focusing on cinnamon. It has this tartness to it but the funk drives through to the finish. So much going on. This is incredible
