Hazy red brown light head. Sour red grain smells. Sour grain tart fades to a light smooth finish. andrewje41 (3882) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - JUN 18, 2014
Bottle pour at the Brouwers event. Pours cola like brown with a very nice sour front aroma. So many sour flavors here. Cherry, grape, and a little apple. This is an incredible beer. Great stuff. JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 24, 2014
Flaske, 75 ml. Tak, Gisle. Kastanjefarver med rødlige nuancer og et lavt lyst beige skum. Syrlig, maltet, oakey. Noter af bær, grapefrugt, acetone, vådt træ, skovbund. Ekstremt mange lag. Kompleks som en god Bourgogne. Wauv!

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2014 Bottle cheers to the main man Adza. Pours clearish light brown with a sticky khaki bunch of bubbles around the side. The nose gives off a load of acidity and dark fruits with plenty of dates and sticky raisin sweetness. The cognac shines nicely without over powering at all. The taste is another story. Layers and layers. Coganc gives it a slightly oily feel where the acidity cuts through perfectly. Raisin-like sweetness, mild orange juiciness. Plenty of mild spices focusing on cinnamon. It has this tartness to it but the funk drives through to the finish. So much going on. This is incredible Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Pours a deep mahogany color with some ruby edges and two fingers of tight eggshell foam. Nose is inviting with ripe burgundy acidity, soft roasted grain, sweet pipe smoke, violets, funky old wood, caramel, dark fruits... Mmmm palate follows with a mysterious fruitiness that is both unique and delicious. Its like soft cognac soaked plums, with cherries, cranberries and pinot noir grapes added into the mix. Nice backbone of soft medium roasted malts with hints of cocoa and caramel that back up the moderate acidity and mingle with an earthy leather and mushroom nuance. Really soft and deliciously delicate sour beer !

Man this is good. The flavor? Sweet jesus. wow. That’s for the haters. HAHA. Anywya, it pours a nice brown color, beige head. Its quite sour but its soft and supple at the same time. Cherry, balsamic, grapes, woody notes, funk...just a superior beer. radagast83 (8059) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAY 1, 2014
Bottle shared at Churchkey. Thanks everyone! Amazing beer.... (can I stop my review right there). Anyway... Poured a beautiful looking dark orange color with a small foamy white head. Aroma was notes of wonderful funk - touch of balsamic, citrus and stone fruits. Nectarines, plum, apricot - with some acidic grapefruit character. Flavor had all those wonderful notes - tartness that hit all the right spots in the mouth, plenty of tangerine, light mango character - seriously, probably the best beer I’ve had this year. Bottle cheers to Ladza. Pours muddy brown with a red hue and soft white head. Aroma of cherries, red wine, sour grapes, fruity oak, bit of vinegar, musk sticks, plenty of earthy bretty notes. Flavours are fucking insane. Tart cherries, musk, funky brett, lemon, cognac and a sharp, sweet oak. Astringent finish. Perfect amount of sourness. Yep. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 30, 2014
Wow, I don’t even know how to rate this I was so impressed. Thanks to the Gene, travlr, gendev, jackl, radagast etc. crew for sharing this for Goose Island Migration Day at CK!! Murky brown pour, Small bubbly head. Nose and flavor are absolutely ridiculous; white and dark balsamic, unripe plum, big earthen funk, and leather collide right in the middle of the palate with terrific nectar, tropical, and citric fruit, including sweet, succulent nectarine, tangerine, pineapple, bright cherry components, pink grapefruit, with cheesecloth and other craziness in there.... this stuff is mindblowingly intense. I’m all about it. One of the best of 2014 so far.
