Pouring at The Festival in Portland with Kramer, Andrew, and J-Dadmond. Pours a hazed brown with a thin white head. Big sweet plum and raisins, oxidization and wood. Big and chewy, lots of chewy malt. Sweet and very drinkable for its size. Oxidization, big plums and caramel. Definitely a beer best in very small amounts. madsberg (11773) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2013

Bottle thanks to SHIG! Pours a near clear copper with a slight ruby hue and a yellowish tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong caramel and cognac with toffee and a bit of booze underlying. Flavor is full caramel and toffee with a good amount of boozy cognac supporting. hopscotch (11159) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pours dark brown with burnt-orange highlights and no head. The aroma is of dates and brandy with a hint of maple. Mega full-bodied and stoopid chewy with nearly no carbonation. The flavor offers malty notes of dates and figs interwoven with a nice, fruity, brandy component. Smooth alcohol booziness in the lightly sweet finish. Most viscous beer I’ve run across, and I’ve run across a lot of beer. Many thanks to newcigarz for sharing this world class bottle of beer!
