750 mL bottle shared by ebone1988. The pour is a nice dark brown/black with a nice thick dark khaki head and couple spots of lace as it falls to a thick ring. The aroma is interesting. Lots happening. Tart, funky Brett, roasted malts and chocolate. There is a decent bit of barrel and oak. There is a weird sharpness to it that I’m not really following. The flavor is equally interesting. The Brett and tartness is really messy with a chocolate and roasted malt. This is all over the place. Decent oak and barrel integration, but the various fermentation techniques just add some messiness to it. Bottle from Merchants. Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is sour, wood, tannins, slight whiskey, skins, roasty. Appearance is dark dark brown, light brown head, lots of yeast. Taste is brett, roasted malt, slightly tart, woody, whiskey, wine tannins, funk, interesting. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, woody brett whiskey tannins aftertaste. UPDATED: OCT 9, 2017 Zwart bier, kleine crèmekleurige schuimkraag. Koffie, bittertje, zuurtje, beetje drop, vineus, eik. Fris-zurige aanzet die overgaat in ietwat licht bittere afdronk. Geslaagde combinatie. Wijnbarrels goed te proeven.

Aroma has sour red berries, sweet red berries, oak barrel, wooden notes, almost like chocolate, maybe cocoa, red wine, tannin, Brett yeast. Taste has sour red berries, sweet red berries, red wine, tannin, oak wood, cocoa / chocolate, ends in sour dry notes and tannin. Bubbly carbonation with full body.
