"Quite sour with a VERY carbonated feel, though still managing to be a little on the heavy side. The high acidity also knocks down the quaffability, but it’s a good sour. Tart, funky, fruity, hoppy. roasted...also lots going on. Not a great beer, but a solidly good one." ansalon (3847) - Stockholm, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - AUG 29, 2014
Pours black with almost no head. Has that kind of low viscosity of sub-par black IPAs but with a bit more assertive swagger. Sticking my nose in and whoa! Must have made a wrong turn somewhere and landed in a berry garden at sunrise. Aromas of blackberry, black currant, cherries, bretta and slight farmhouse. Behind that some faint notes of chocolate and roasted malts that marries perfecty with the lovely berry tartness. Taste is eaqually spectacular: frizzy on the mouth with some smooth notes as well. Berry tartness that integrates seamlessly with that chocolatey and slight vanilla-esque notes while constantly underlining it all is that lovely tart funk note. This is complex as fuck but at the same time so easy, drinkable and harmonious that it’s nearly unbelievable. Absolutely stunning! Inbreak (6068) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - AUG 16, 2014

Small slightly bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is dry sour-ish, oak, mild vinegar, sorrel, dark malts, thinner, grass, dark fruits, caramel, sour coffee, redwine. Taste is dry, oak, sorrel, grass, dark malts, bark, berry skin, dark fruits, burnt caramel, redwine, sour coffee. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice.
Serving: 22 oz. bottle. Almost black pour with a small but lasting brown head. The nose is has plenty of funk combined with the pinot and oak notes. Very complex on the tongue. Waves of different flavors come across. Roasted malt, wine, funk, oak, chocolate, earthy hops, and dark fruit flavors. Quite the mix. Different and tasty.

Deep brown, hazy, thin beige head. Aroma of cocoa, dark fruit, light funk. Flavor of raisins, plumbs, nutty notes, chocolate, light spice, dark bread crusts. Complex and well made. MacBoost (1898) - Victor, New York, USA - JUL 12, 2014
Bottle all to myself. Batch 1, bottled march 2013. Pours a deep brown/blacksmiths tan head. Aromas of chocolate soaked sour fruit, some roast. No hops detected. Taste is sour and lightly bitter. Flavors comes across as a soured imperial stout. Not overly tart, just enough to get the point across. No wine barrel influence detected, although there is oak present. Alcohol is completely hidden, and this beer is very dry. Finishes with a light sourness and some bitter coffee. Very nice.
