mcberko (20268) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 19, 2014
750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small white head. Nose brings out dry liqueur notes, some moderate brett, and light dark fruits. Flavour brings out fresh pungent cherries, moderate tartness, and a little brett, but it’s not prominent. Surprising how pungent the cherry flavour is. Fairly complex, but not overly drinkable - a slow sipper. Very nice unusual stuff.

Bottle. Brown pour with tan head. Brett, mild lacto, dark fruit aromas. Oak, wine, dark fruit, nice funk and other vinegar tart tones.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours dark brown with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of light sourness/tartness, dark malts, dark fruits, oak and vanilla, a nice funkiness, and light spices. Flavor the same with a very balanced blend. Average texture. A really cool beer but I wish more stood out about it.
