Bottle cheers to Ladza. Pours muddy brown with a red hue and soft white head. Aroma of cherries, red wine, sour grapes, fruity oak, bit of vinegar, musk sticks, plenty of earthy bretty notes. Flavours are fucking insane. Tart cherries, musk, funky brett, lemon, cognac and a sharp, sweet oak. Astringent finish. Perfect amount of sourness. Yep. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 10, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2014 Bottle cheers to the main man Adza. Pours clearish light brown with a sticky khaki bunch of bubbles around the side. The nose gives off a load of acidity and dark fruits with plenty of dates and sticky raisin sweetness. The cognac shines nicely without over powering at all. The taste is another story. Layers and layers. Coganc gives it a slightly oily feel where the acidity cuts through perfectly. Raisin-like sweetness, mild orange juiciness. Plenty of mild spices focusing on cinnamon. It has this tartness to it but the funk drives through to the finish. So much going on. This is incredible Dogbrick (14391) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 7, 2014
Sample at Crooked Stave. The beer pours a clear ruby-brown color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of oak, tart fruit and caramel. Medium-bodied with flavors of vinous oak, caramel malt and funky yeast. The finish is brett yeast and tart vine fruits. Pretty good all around. Bottle at home with friends and family. Pour is deep brown with a light red tint and small tan head that quickly dissipated. Red wine vinegar, some spice, cinnamon, brown sugar, caramelly, green apples and pears in the aroma. Taste is red wine, some caramel, light salt, somewhat acidic, dark fruits, tangy, and oaky with a semi sour finish. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. kevinator (2894) - The Colony, Texas, USA - OCT 2, 2014
Good and complex but CS has better. Fruit esters and funky aroma. Brown in color with a lighter tint on the edges. Medium palate with a wine feel. Sour up front that tapers to a slight smokiness with wood.

Flaske, 75 ml. Tak, Gisle. Kastanjefarver med rødlige nuancer og et lavt lyst beige skum. Syrlig, maltet, oakey. Noter af bær, grapefrugt, acetone, vådt træ, skovbund. Ekstremt mange lag. Kompleks som en god Bourgogne. Wauv!

Bottle gifted by daknole. Thank you, my friend, for the great hang, conversation, and delicious beers.
The beer is a dark chestnut hue with tinges of russet and crimson, sporting a thin, beige collar. The aroma brings brettanomyces, funk, cherry, oak, a touch of spice. Similar flavor, with additional notes of balsamic vinegar, black currant, red wine, port. Subtle notes of nuts, earth. Light to medium bodied with moderate acidity. Similar in some regards to an oud bruin. A delicious beer. I’ll be sipping on this for the next couple hours. Cheers Dak! madmitch76 (26878) - , Essex, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2014

Tasting at Jack’s RAH Annexe! Almost opaque dark amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light dry and crispy. Gueuzey sourness. Touch of brandy. Dried fruits. Lemon acid. Dry finish. Too sharp for me.
Bottle from Kihoskh, shared with esp0r september 5th 2014. Clear red tinted brown body. Acidic aroma with forest berries, wine, wood. Taste is sweet and tart, berries, caramel, nuts, fruit. Lactic and fruity finish. Nice stuff. MacBoost (1992) - Victor, New York, USA - SEP 7, 2014
Pours a deep red amber with no head. Looks very flat. Aromas of sour dark fruit. Taste is tart and semi dry. Flavors of oak, funky bacteria, dark fruit, a touch of booze. Mouthfeel is thin and it is nearly flat. Easily chuggable. Finishes with a slight pucker but honestly, it could be more complex.
