Hazy pale gold beer, huge fluffy white head. Lovely nose of mango and lesser pineapple. Light palate, airy with biting fine carbonation. The head has pineapple sherbet! The beer has traces of mango and pineapple that are slightly dominated by the bitter seltzer minerals and yeast. Finishes semi dry with mild bitterness. Pretty good, very drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Ariel. Cloudy pale yellow with a huge frothy white head. Pleasant delicate bretty aroma with a bit of barnyard, some woody notes, some tropical fruits, a bit of grassy notes and spicy hints. Sourish-bitterish flavor, funky, citric and hoppy with oak and light spiciness. Medium-bodied. Really nice.

Bottled at Babajan, Stockholm. Cloudy pale golden, rich lively head. Intense aroma of citrus with some coriander. Dry with medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Zesty citrus and mango. Growing bitter finish. Reefreshing and tasty.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy light golden with a resilient white head. Aroma is bretts, pepper, white wine, yeast. Flavor is tons of fruits, belgian yeast, dusty, and extremely dry. Finish is bitter, yes, but slightly minty, too. Definitely not as bitter as I would have expected. Lots of acidity. Dusty-barnyardish aftertaste. Light body, slightly prickly carbonation. Very good!

Bouteille 750ml.

Sampled at Dice’s going away party. Whipe IPA describes the appearance. A sour aroma. Brett? Brett galore in the flavor. Pale malts are almost buried. The hops are also under the brett. Still, this stuff is good.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a large fluffy white head. The aroma has a little bit of everything; fruity, peppery spice, herbal, earthy hops and Brett. The flavor is herbal, peppery spice, earthy, dry Brett character, woody with a hint of funk. This is very solid, but the price is prohibitive.

pours hazy pale yellow with a towering frothy white head, excellent retention and intense lacing. tropical, white grapes, pineapple, very fruity, citrusy, dusty bretts-plenty. lightly tart. lively to soft carbonation, dry brett finish along with big galaxy citrusy and herbal notes - slightly harsh, hint of sweetness. much appreciated - glad another bottle is in transit.

Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 31, 2013
750ml bottle. Opens with a real pop. Pours a pale gold with loads of fluffy white foam. Aroma is heavy on lemon, sour orange and bubblegum. Some really crazy wild notes in the aroma. Lots more crazy citrus character in the taste. The barrels provide a nice presence and those peppercorns keep things interesting. Soapy, floral hops rear up too. There’s so much going on here it’s unreal. Does it come together perfectly? Maybe not quite, but it’s a stellar effort and really drinkable. Anchorage have really impressed me.
