Bottle: Poured a hazy white/yellow color ale with a super large pale white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of dry hoppy notes with some strong Brett notes also dominating. Taste is a mix between some solid wheat alt notes with some strong fruity and dry hops notes with a finish dominated by the funky Brett notes. Body is full with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Really well put together with huge amount of complexity while retaining a great level of drinkability. krumbum (1109) - truckee, California, USA - JAN 28, 2013
A slightly hoppy, yeasty sour smell cleanses the nasal passages, like an old wine barrel in the rain . A cloudy light amber appearance with an active head (who doesn’t like active head). A smooth entrance in to the sip with a hop explosion in the middle and a tart yeasty finish that refreshingly fades. A light fizzy feel that leaves your tongue dry to the air but still comfortably moist. Good beer for a make out session?

Bottle from Mari’s. Pours hazy as hell with a yellow body and a big white head that sticks around a good bit. The aroma is a big orange rind, citrus kick follows with orange, grapefruit, and lemon. You can definitely smell the funky yeast, brett,, and some wood. The taste has a huge carbonation kick up front. It’s nearly an assault on your tongue. There is a big funky citrus flavor.. lemon and orange take the lead. There is a bitter finish.. dry.. almost saison-like. This is a cool beer. Shaney (2423) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - JAN 28, 2013
Hellgelb, trüb mit reichlich Schaum. Kumquatsaroma (Orange, Mandarine) mit Aromahopfen. Säuerlich-fruchtiger Antrunk, schön trockener Beginn. Koriander und reichlich Würze im Geschmack. Klingt staubtrocken und leicht holzig aus. Superber Stoff! herchick (20) - Akron, Ohio, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Sad to say this $$$ bottle went down the drain. Neither me or my wife could take more than a couple of tastes. I know this has Brett in it but it seems way too unbalanced to be enjoyable. If you like licking wet horse hair then by all means get this one. Very carbonated, has some nice additions to it and those flavors come out in the tasting, but the Brett is so overpowering that I can't focus on the underlying flavors.

Cork literally flew off. Light yellow, big head. Funky barneyard, hops, oak, chardonnay. Extremely dry, long bitter finish. Very funky and well made. Awesome stuff GTAEgeek (2495) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 22, 2013
750 mL bottle. Pours a very hazy, pale gold with a huge, frothy, white head. Big, bitter orange aromas, with a herbal note and some minerals. The flavor is very bitter, with a significant sourness. Light to medium body, very sticky, and weakly effervescent. Overall, this is a flavorful and delicious IPA, with a light body and good spicy flavor. Unfortunately, this is sticky mess, with the hops overpowering the wine and wit notes. dagimp (1008) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Bottle purchased at whole foods for $16-18. No date on bottle. Cork flys off with authority! Fantastic aroma! Hoppy mild aroma with some funk and wine melding perfectly. Massive fluffy head but little lacing. Mouthfeel is dry but a bit too fizzy. Taste is dry with a goo dose of galaxy hops. Funk is present but not overpowering. Definite medicine flavor too. Very mild spiced flavor as well. Overall, an interesting beer but not fantastic. Lots of good flavors but just don't meld perfect.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with full head. Aromas of brett, cellar, coriander, malts, yellow fruit and a bit of white pepper. A lot going on. Tons of carbonation. Acrid and funky; must be the brett, but initial flavor is a shock - what comes to mind is urine; must be the kumquats. After that, flavors of malts, citrus, and coriander. But every sip is still a shock. Could have been great... KawaBomber (228) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 15, 2013
750mL, Batch 2: With a pop of the cork I’m on my way to my first rating after a couple years of rating burnout...
Pours a beautiful cloudy, pale yellow w/ a gigantic white head that recedes to a marshmallow like lump in my glass.
Aroma: A mix of grass, citrus, wheat, spices & a slight funk. Very earthy, love it.
Flavor: Bitter citrus, wheat character & spice. Very dry w/ a long bitter finish. Lots of carbonation as well. The subtle type, not overbearing.
This is one of those beers I saw, passed over, couldn’t stop thinking about & went back for a couple days later. Glad I did because this one is full of awesome!
