Batch 2: Misty golden. Towering white crown of clingy meringue. Potently phenolic nose of medical tape, sulfur, white pepper and matchstick along with sherbet, pineapple marmalade, lemon verbena, grassy herbs, celery seed, perfumey hops. New-mown hay aromas lurk beneath. Slightly soapy. Expansive, feathery soft carbonation. Boisterously phenolic from the get-go, with sassy lavender and Russian sage sharpness swirled with brisk bandage- and sulfur-laden phenolics. Crackery, haylike pils malt gracefully restores softness as it blankets the palate with multilayered starches. Grain is supportive, throughout, and mostly clean with the exception of the faintest huskiness (burnt wood) exuding. Twinge of pineapple gorgeously dovetails with the zesty hoppiness and a lemon verbena imbued tartness. Late emergence of floral nectarine succulence couples with a brett-derived peach fuzz bitterness and citrus peel acid to add detail and some welcomed softness to the center. While the hops arent overly unruly, at times they teeter on an aspirinlike resinous edge which thankfully stops just shy of clashing with the stark dryness and robust herbs. Plenty of redemptive lemon and tropical fruit succulence beneath the hops continually beckons you to take another large gulp. Finishes explosively phenolic and dryly malty with notes of hay dust, lemon and sharp herbs. Nice effort here. Does need a lot of time to breathe in order to soften and coalesce, as its quite brisk and leans toward stark, early on. Aside from some subtle soapiness - which presumably comes from the coriander as it can take on that character when used excessively - this is very enjoyable.

Pours a pale straw yellow color with a thick white head. Funk, citrus, floral, oak, white wine, yeast, coriander and peppercorn aroma. Lemongrass, lime, tangerine, kumquat, floral, yeast, funk, oak, wheat and coriander flavors. Light body and lively carbonation. Lemongrass, lime, tangerine and funk finish. Generally not my favorite style of beer, but this is exceptional. Batch #11.

One Mile House, Brooklyn: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is fruity and lightly bretty. Very full. No bitterness. Some sweetness. Light complexity. Thought it would be better.

Pours light yellow, quite hazy with frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, some fruit, tartness, lots of funk. Flavour is citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit peel, tart and again funk overall. Finish is dry, earthy, sourish. Definitely not my kind of beer.

750 ml corked and caged bottle, Batch #8 April/2015. Loud champagne pop. Unclear light pale yellow, huge firm white foam eventually settles and lasts. Aroma of fruity yeast, coriander, pepper spices and faint funk. Taste is citrus fruity, dirty earthy yeast, coriander and white pepper, mild funk, lean wheat malt. Higher carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. Nice enough but overpriced. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Decent. Some bretta, some light oak. Some pine. Pours hazy golden with good head and lacing. Interestingly, this was called "Jolly Pumpkin Galaxy White" but Im assuming that was a mix up. Tap at Churhckey.

On tap at the Beer Belly in Albany, NY. This is really a unique IPA. Pours a hazy lift yellow color, but the aroma is complex: lemons, grass, wheat, coriander, pepper...lots of stuff going on. Taste is more funky than IPAs...has an oak finish. But not heavy. Great IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber - pours a semi cloudy almost clear or opaque liquid with a very thick soapy white head that slowly dissipates. The aroma is slightly sour along with hints of tropical fruit and lemony hops. A unique IPA with flavors like lemon, funky brettomyces, floral notes, herbal grassiness, white biscuit malt and sour fruit.
