This beer looks great right out of the pour. Rich golden colors as well as a rich smooth pour. Very aromatic and floral so it took me a minute to get my nose out of the glass hahaha. it tasted even better than i expected. the sourness of the beer perfectly mellows out the initial taste of the peppercorns. Fruit flavors stood out nicely above the slight funk. Super super tasty beer. I was sad to see the bottle empty. hopwine (670) - brooklynzzzzz, New York, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Floral, tropical, barnyard nose. Flavor is same plus some mandarin orange, nectarine, pineapple, minerality, tart cherry, pepper. Mild to moderate tannins. This is on another level. gramity (1675) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 25, 2012
RBAG 2012. Of all the beers at RBAG 2012 this might have been my personal favorite. Orange in colour with strong carbonation. BIg time bretty funk on the nose, along with notes of dried herbs, mellow red wine, and citrus peel. Very dry in the mouth with loads of brett, rose hip herbal tea, orange and tangerine peel, and red wine barrel. It almost smelt a little dirty in such a good way. The kind of good dirty like when you significant other talks about getting dirty. The taste was all kinds of excellent I can’t quite communicate properly. This has landed on my "buy all on sight" list.

Slendid first taste of lambic. then nice aroma of citra hops. Also features from belgian beers. Very multi layered versatile taste. Try If you can get your hands on one of those. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 9, 2012
Golden orange in colour with a long lasting white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is of bubblegum, yeast, floral hops, oranges and grapefruit, some pale malts. The flavour is bretty, sweet, floral, lots of citrus, barnyard, oaky. Bretty mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, bretty, with some citrus.andrewje41 (4091) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - NOV 24, 2014
Where did this brewery come from? One on the "holy shit" moments for me this past year. Unbelievable stuff here. My new favorite brewery in North America - by a long margine.
750ml bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York.
Opened on December 15, 2011.
Batch #1, August 2011.
750 Ml bottle corked and labeled as batch number 3. Pours a cloudy light orange color with sour grapes and maybe some peach aroma. Thicker body for my usual saisons, but this isn’t your typical saison. A lot of sour fruit, grape, and citrus with a wonderful collaboration of spices in the finish. I expected a lot out of this beer and waited a while to finally get it, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Incredible beer to say the least. Bottle. Funky, peppery sour aroma. Hazy golden body with medium lasting head. Flavor begins with citrus and clove notes, followed by a champagne, grapefruit and sour hints. Long funky finish. Very crisp saison, the brett gives it a unique balance. bhensonb (15505) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 26, 2011
750 c&c from The Davis Beer Shoppe in Davis, CA. This place has lots of good beer!!! Pours hazy dark amber with a frothy/foamy off-white head. Aroma through the foam is celery and very mucky barnyard. Followed by fruity perfume? Med + body. Flavor is celery, barnyard, red wine, funk, barnyard, yeast/spice, oak, French shoes(:)) This is fruity, juicy funky stuff. This is rich vinosity hitting farm yard. My mouth tingles. My nose rejoices. Where do these guys come from?
