Bottle shared at poker night. Lovely deep pink hue with a lively light pink head. Brett and florals combine in a very appealing way, with spicy and oaky undertones. Complex and elegant.

Whoa. What a brew! Pours a dark pinkish amber with a thin fizzly white head. Not too much carbonation. The nose is ripe red fruit, brett, slight citrus tart notes, mild floral and grassy hop notes. Brett is well engrained, mild tartness, citrus and red fruit notes. Oak presence is quite mild, slight bitterness on the finish. Floral, grassy, malts are minimalist, toasted bread, grains. Pepper and coriander are unnoticed. Overall this is amazing!

Bottle from Whole Foods. Amber color, white head. Sour taste with citrus, earthy notes, a bit of hops, brett, ripe fruits, toast and grass. Sour finish with citrus, earthy notes, a bit of hops, brett, ripe fruits and toast. Excellent sour saison.

750ml corked bottle. Pours a murky gold-orange with sediment particles floating around and a small, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Aroma of funky yeast, brett, red wine, lemon, orange, rose hips, oak, peppercorns and bready pale malt. Sweet flavour of lemon, orange, peach, red wine, cheesy brett funk, oak, rose hips, caramel, grainy pale malt and peppercorns with a dry, tart, bitter hop finish. Medium to full body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Lots of complexity. An excellent saison.

750 ml bottle, batch #4 bottled 12/2015, shared by Werckmeister, many thanks. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a white head. The aroma is very vinous with lots of woody notes, oak, vanilla, fermented oranges and some honey. Medium body with a low carbonation and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor is spicy with pepper (the sediment is particularly peppery), orange zest, rose hip, fruit infusion and again lots of woody notes, red wine, oak. Finishes dry and woody. For me with too much barrel notes and a little out of balance.

0,75l bottle shared by me at Powys. Batch #4, Bottled 12/2015. Orange hazy colour, small white head. smells of ripe fruits, light oranges, musty, light sweetness, marzipan, nutty. very lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, spices, ripe fruits, grassy, lightly boozy, wood, grapes, tobacco, marzipan, nutty, herbal, light apple notes. finishes dry and lightly bitter with notes of spices, wood and grassy notes. very nice and interesting one, very unique, very expressive and complex maybe not the best balance (anymore) but overall very nice beer. 9 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 17

750 ml bottle, batch #4 12/2015, shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Amber, medium hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, light yellow head.
Aroma of herbs, spices, wood, white wine, grapes, sour berries, some tea, some lemon.
Tastes quite similar, but with more dry wine barrel.
Medium, slick mouthfeel mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes dry, wooden, vinous, spicy, a bit fruity, with tea, rosehip.

Good, while I was expecting more. Too much wine barrel and spicy/herbal notes for me, that aren't too balanced in my opinion. Still an interesting beer, really unique stuff, but not how I like a Saison.

Bottle (Shared by BVery- Thanks!); pours cloudy light amber with a white head; aroma of yeast funk with some light spice and some citrus and floral hints; taste is yeasty with citrus, a little pepper, and traces of wood; dry finish with a hint of the pinot

Bomber shared by Bvery, thanks? Aroma is fine, tart apples. Taste is strange, like dandelion stems (thanks for that explanation Brian). Not sure what happened here.

deyholla (12803) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 10, 2017
Bottle share by Brian, thanks! Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of herbal and floral notes with some tonic and a bit of funky grains. Flavor has a funky note with some herbal grains, flora and a light fruit note supporting.
