McSherman (668) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - DEC 17, 2015
leuchtend gelb, leicht opal, etwas weißer Schaum. Malzig,süß, brotig, getreidig, würzig und etwas Hopfen. Solides Bock!

mzaar (3380) - Varberg, SWEDEN - DEC 17, 2015
Flaska.

artemb (898) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - OCT 31, 2015
Bready and malty with light zesty and grassy hops. Sweet with light bitterness. Flavour: white bread, grain, weak hops, alcohol. Clean and malty, decent.

mariuszek (1355) - Gdynia, POLAND - OCT 27, 2015
Real good for the style. Golden, a little hazy, medium head. Malty aroma, honey sweet, malty taste, full bodied, with a hint of hops on finish. Balanced and no booze appears.

SinH4 (4708) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 26, 2015
Clear golden color with big white head. Aroma is sweet-malty, like a good Helles, but more intense. Taste is sweet at first, then the grains take over, then sweetness again, clean finish with hints of esters and alcohol. Smooth carbonation, oily mouthfeel. A solid Bock. ABV is well hidden.

Ritzn (1311) - GERMANY - OCT 11, 2015
Aroma: Some fruits (maybe grapes?) and caramel. Taste: surprisingly sweet, reminds me a little of yeast dough Palate: Low carbonation, medium body with long finish. Appearance: clear golden with little white head. A decent beer, that you want to take another sip of, immediately after the previous one :)

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 4C). Bottle 50 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: moderate grainy-sweet aroma with a very faint Mailard products note. very faint floral hop aroma and clen lager profile. APPEARANCE: slight light gold and translucent. moderate, creamy, white head with average retention. TASTE: moderately strong grainy-sweet malt flavour with a very faint bread crust notes. no hop flavour. balanced bitterness with a semy-dry finish. PALATE: medium body with a smooth texture. moderate carbonation. slight alcohol warming. OVERALL: a good heller bock that lacks a bit more hop bitterness.
