A product of traditional multiple mashing, Andechser Vollbier Hell presents a bright straw yellow and clear gleaming look that cannot fail to fascinate. Its head is firm and fine pored. Its aroma is pure and fresh from the cellar, with soft malty accents imbued with floral hoppiness. Its light and soft body leaves a pleasant, tangy taste in the mouth. The mild sweetness marries well with the velvety bitterness of the hops. It concludes on a rounded, harmonious note. Andechser Vollbier Hell is therefore a classical Bavarian Vollbier (11.5% original extract and 4.8% alcohol by volume).

Leichtes Bier, kein hoch intensiver Geschmack, passt zur Brotzeit oder einfach mal so für zwischendurch

Andechser Vollbier Hell has a thick, white head, a hazy, golden appearance, some individual ascending bubbles, and heavy lacing left behind, on the glass. The aroma is of rich, yeasty, herbal white bread and some dried fruit. Taste is of those elements, with even more of a spice zing coming into play. Mouthfeel is medium, and Andechser Vollbier Hell finishes medium dry and easy drinking. RJT

On tap at Andechs am Dom, Munich. Light yellow colour, white bubbly foam. Slightly sweeter in the malts than many other helles with a tingling but not obtrusive hop finish. Supremely smashable, real proper drinking beer at its best.

Bottle:   Bright straw, vibrant carbonation, moderate frothy white head, little lacing.   Sweet grassy nose, pale breadiness.   Clean on the tongue, very soft breadiness, a bit yeasty, grassy, sweet straw and hay.   Pretty nice Helles.   Not as crisp as others, but its a bit heftier and sweeter, which is fine by me.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Lingering grassiness.   Nothing out of the ordinary, but solid.   Clean too!

This is a tasty helles. Simple but with a bit of loft to the mouthfeel. Very smooth.

Pours a finger and half of head on a clear light straw body. Aroma hay. Taste is initially mild bitter then syrupy sweet. Texture is medium.

0,5 l Flasche. Aroma: malzig, würzig. Erscheinung: Goldgelbes Bier, viel weißer Schaum, der leider schnell abbaut. Geschmack: kräftig würzig, malzig süß, leicht bitter. Nachgeschmack: Süße hält sich. Gesamt: Gut trinkbar, überdurchschnittlich, aber nicht außergewöhnlich.

Bottle. Light golden beer with an off-white head. Mineral and malt aroma. Malt and mineral flavor with light spice. Malt and light mineral lingers with light grass.

jenznett (201) - GERMANY - AUG 25, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2018 Geruch typisch süß, aber leicht bitter nach Getreide und Malz. Geschmack weich, metallisch auf der Zunge und leicht wässrig. Aroma kräftig und voll, würzig nach Heu und Getreide.
