Probably the best helles I’ve had. Man, Andechs continues to deliver. Light golden pour, white head, nice lacing. Aroma of hay, sugary cereal, and lemon. Flavor is sublimely balanced. There is a solid sweetness hiding in there, but the lemony hops add just the right amount of bitterness to lend the brew a clean, refreshing finish. Despite the mild nature of the flavors involved (lemon, pale malty sweetness) this beer manages the be pretty flavorful. Mouthfeel is very smooth. Coats the tongue nicely. Good beer.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with medium white head. Metallic nose. Grain, metal, gras, a bit citrus. Slightly bitter and sweet. Soft carbonated and light bodied. Nice palate. Refreshing and pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from gourmeo24. Clear yellow colour, lots of white foam, disappears quickly. Bready, malty, light citrussy. Easy drinkable. Not bad but there are better Helles in my opinion.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2017 (500 ml bottle) Pours a clear straw-yellow beer, with steady medium-fine carbonation, and a dense white head. The aroma is very pleasant and clean: fresh cereal, caramel, noble hops, some floral and herbaceous notes, a touch of lemon, and a yeasty bread-dough finish. The mouthfeel is very silky and smooth. This beer is really smooth and satisfying. Although the brewing style limits this beer’s depth of aroma, it’s excellent for a helles: extremely well-balanced and well-blended. Easy drinking.

Blassgelb Klar mit weißem Schaum. Das Bier ist leicht malzig, würzig, etwas herb und recht süffig.

Bottle. Pale Yellowy Gold. Fresh, crisp and smooth. Malty and fruity. Buttery malts. Sweetish malt leading to slight grassy earthy hop bitterness. Good malt/hop balance. Bitter in the finish. (2008)

Butelka 0,5l. Klarowne, obfita piana, ładnie zdobi szkło. Aromat niezbyt przyjemny, słód i warzywa. W smaku lepiej, dość rześko. Stosunkowo dużo ciała, jak na hellesa.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2017 Bottle. Nice pale yellow. Great head. Grassy, bready and spicy. Balanced. Nice mouthfeel and carbonation. Awesome Helles. Very refreshing and sessionable.
