Bottle from Lekkerbier, Joure. Dark blonde colour, dense white head. Aroma has hops, balancing between bitterness and fruits. Fruits like citrus and grapefruit. Bitter taste, full bodied, smooth, reasonable long finish. Very nice.

bottle, at klub malych pivovaru. bright orange with a thin head; aroma of cookie dough and pine; not overly bitter for a double ipa but the better for it, revealing some bready malt, pine, grapefruit and a really clean but not dull character

Bottle split at JFs, cheers James, 19/07/13. Labelled as AV - Imperial IPA. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a decent sized off white head that retains well. Nose is caramel malt forward, hops, bitter orange, light pine. Taste comprises caramel malt, light tropical fruit medley, bitter orange, hint of bitter grapefruit, light hop notes. Full end of medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with hop bitterness. Ok DIPA - nothing too exciting though.

A - Pours a brilliantly clear amber with 2 fingers of foamy white head. Very good looking. S - Fruity - pineapple, orange, and mango stand out the most. Faint caramel and pale malt. T - Follows the nose - pineapple, orange, mango, strawberries. Floral perfume, caramel malt is in the shadows along with some honey and alcohol. Clean citrus oil sits on the back of the tongue. Finishes dry and clean. M - Medium body, low side of medium carbonation. Alcohol is evident. Was alot of aroma coming of this beer. This drinks good but doesnt really have a wow factor. Seems like the base of hop ottin. Serving type: bottle 12-11-2011
