The Anderson Valley Saison is a fine example of a traditional Saison. The aroma had citrus and spicy notes. It is clear and golden with a more spicy flavor than a citrusy taste that went down smooth without any hoppy or bitter finish. hayduke (5203) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 28, 2012

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2012 On tap @ Fulton Grand w Erica. Pours medium yellow with big head. Aroma is awesome: nice cutting funk with citrus and yeast. Just potent enough. Palate is surprisingly little citrus with a generous helping of yeast. Great example of the style without relying too much on zest/citrus. Crisp, refreshing, not too astringent. bhensonb (15187) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 3, 2012

Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, lemon, citrus, toast, toffee, spices, and yeast. Taste of citrus, spices, light yeast, lemon, wheat, and a dry finish. thebusstop (178) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 7, 2012
A saison is a really tricky brew, in my opinion. I thought Anderson Valley did a really good job with this one. The funkiness was definitely there in the nose and the taste. It packed a real punch, but saisons often do. A really refreshing brew totally worth trying! jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - MAR 31, 2012

Lively carbonation and a slight tartness in the finish. Citrus and coriander flavor with a touch of ginger. Nice, easy drinking saison.
