12 Oz bottle. Black and opaque. Rich and roasty. Slightly sweet. Good enough. obxdude10 (2391) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2007
Excellent stout, light black color as just a touch of light was allowed through, brown head with a great sticky lacing around the glass, nose full of chocolate, bread, coffee & a little yeast, medium in body, very drinkable & very smooth, rich flavors with notes of expresso, light chocolate & a touch of bitter hops, deep & rich finish with more notes of chocolate & burnt malt, great mouthfeel, a really enjoyable stout

Bottle from state line, thanks Dennis Bell.
Nice dark dark brown pour. Thick in appearence. Nice roasted malt aroma with a hint of coco. Coffee and roast flavor. Nicely done. hydros (7) - Riverside, California, USA - MAY 17, 2007 does not count
22 oz bottle, pours black with mediun tan head, thin with initial choclate giving way to a tangy burnt malt flavor. Has the elements of a good stout, but is too thin hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - MAY 17, 2007

Had as 22 ounce. Solid, nothing origonal. Earthy, chocolate, maybe a bit of coffee. Decent brew, I’d buy it again. jarspag (601) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 16, 2007
Apperance aint bad...but otherwise, a run of the mill stout. Not much going on and pretty thin. A nice steppin stone to the bigger beers! madcow75 (426) - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 15, 2007
Bottle. Pours black, medium tan head. Hmmmm.....interesting aroma, some bitter chocolate and metallic and tangy. Same tangyness as some of their other beers. Taste is smoke, burnt coffee, bitter chocolate. Thin and silky. A little watery in the finish, slight bitterness and smoke. Not one of my favs. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAY 2, 2007
650 mL bottle. Aroma of choclate and oats. Taste of chocolate, oats, and molasses, which transitions to a smokey roastiness and finishes bitter-sweet and semi-dry. Bottle cap said, "You ARE Worthy!" Humble Bastards.
