Clear dark black color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, burnt, cofee, dark berry sour. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light berry acidic - sour and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081207]

12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small chocolate brown head. Aroma is smooth chocolate and oatmeal, dark roasted malt. Smooth mouthfeel, yet lighter than I would have expected. Mild bitterness, smooth roasted malt and slight chocolate flavoured. Smooth lingering roasted malt flavoured finish.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2013 Deep black ... sour roast malt nose ... odd!.... nice roast little chocolate but the flavour isnt so sour but its got quite a lot of lemon [this is 4 months ive had it and may be past bbf, i cant see one ] decent but might have been better if id had it earlier
