Got this in a can. Better than a Guinness. Slightly more body to it and more alcohol which gives a more complex taste. Still a bit watery compared to an imperial stout. Sweet. Cant say I can feel the oatmeal in the aroma or the taste. Sure there are some coffee and some chocolate as expected but its fairly weak. Not much hops.

12oz. Black beer with a tan head. Aroma is mostly sweet malt and a bit of sour. Flavor is coffee, sour malt, and not a whole lot else. Fairly soft overall, a bit lacking in character, not my favorite oatmeal stout.

Bottle. Pours black, medium tan head. Hmmmm.....interesting aroma, some bitter chocolate and metallic and tangy. Same tangyness as some of their other beers. Taste is smoke, burnt coffee, bitter chocolate. Thin and silky. A little watery in the finish, slight bitterness and smoke. Not one of my favs.

Best stout Ive ever had, hands down. Easy to drink, rich and smooth flavors, subltly bittersweet aftertaste. Awesome!

Bottle 355ml. Deep black with a creamy beige top that fades somewhat. The aroma has bitterness as expected with stout, but I also recognize a faint soft hint which reminds me of milk. The taste is pleasantly bitter, typical stout. But again a soft mild aftertaste is present, this time its more like malts.

Nice burnt flavor, but the alcohol is a little too apparent for my tastes. Try the Samuel Smiths.

Solid well balanced stout. Smooth but expected more from the palate. Would say this was thick or rich as stated in description. With that said the flavor is good and helps make this easy drinking. Balanced but not very complex.
