Gillar att man känner havresmaken, annars ganska tunn för en stout. Fin arom, svag eftersmak.

Draft. Aroma dry and dark with a hint of oatmeal. Appearance is black with tan lacing. Taste is dark malt with that oatmeal coming in at the end. Palate is dry and dark. Overall, a good stout. Would buy if i could. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Large dark brown head into black body. Good lacing. Chocolate, coffee, and burnt malts present in the aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet with a touch of bitterness. Okay oatmeal.

Serving: from tap at Revel. Aroma: moderate malt. Appearance: no head and no lacing. Cola-brown body. Taste: moderately sweet, roasty initial flavor and finish. Average duration. Palate: medium-to-full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Overall: very good. I would be happy to drink this again.

Bit more cocoa flakes than usual, roast, low bod - fairly light and thin but I reckon that’s par for the course for an OS, bread in the aroma, although felt rather lightly. Unobtrusive, but solid

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2011 Jet black in appearance with a brown head that unfortunately collapses quite quickly. Malt sugar sweetened black malt and nutty oats dominate the aroma with just a hint of ale yeast fruit. There is also an incredible, sweetened, carmelized milk aroma as well. WOW, what a tapestry of flavor. The aroma only hinted at what I found on the palate. All aroma components are in the flavor with a body that is solid (but not overdone), grainy, and silky from the oats. This, and just the right bitterness, allows for drinkability and balance. I think this is almost perfect.

Opaque black, brown edges. Medium-large brown head. Aroma intensity 3.5/5. Toast, olive oil and malt aroma. Medium-heavy bitter. Thinner than expected texture. Fizzy carbonation

Bomber into a pint glass. Pours a deep brown with a light cream head. Light roasty aroma with a hint of coffee. Very rich flavour with loads of roasted malt and coffee and a definite note of black licorice. Smooth and pleasant.
