Good stout. Dark pour and brown forming head with little lacing. Coffee and oats. Good brew.
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2017 Barmey Flats takes oatmeal to new heights. Wonderful blend of smoothness and chewyness that goes down easy and makes you eish all breakfast staples could be used to make stout so drinkably edible. Luneylane (216) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - SEP 14, 2017
A bottle from the basement of 101. Aroma: raisins, liquorice. Appearance: cola, attractive tan head dissipates to nothing. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, average carbonation. Long and complex finish. Taste: extremely well-balanced medium sweet and bitter. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla, a little bit of discordant ashtray right at the end. jandorris (724) - Warsaw, POLAND - SEP 1, 2017
W aromacie pyszne owsiane ciasteczka. W tle majaczy kakao. W smaku są przecudowne owsiane ciasteczka oblane czekoladą. BColan (14) - - AUG 25, 2017
Love the taste. The aroma sort of ruined it a little. Not a strong smell for a stout at all. But wonderful taste and look to the beer.

bottle. Near black with one finger head. Solid oatmeal stout. Light cocoa, smooth oaty nature. It’s a very good representation of the style, and yet I’m kind of bored at the same time. Probably says more about me than the beer.

Dark brown color with small brown head. Weak burnt malt aroma with hints of chocolate. Dry and light chocolate aroma in aftertaste. Hrc_Cro (592) - Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 6, 2017

Bottle at home. The foam disappears very quickly. Almost black color. Didn’t liked this one very much. ironcontra (365) - POLAND - JUL 21, 2017
Bit more cocoa flakes than usual, roast, low bod - fairly light and thin but I reckon that’s par for the course for an OS, bread in the aroma, although felt rather lightly. Unobtrusive, but solid ChadPolenz (1844) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - JUL 21, 2017
2015 BJCP Category: 16B Oatmeal Stout
AROMA: Moderately strong fruity aroma (e.g. raisins, red fruits). Moderately coffee & vanilla presence. Faint diacetyl; possible oxidation - but these characteristics are not distracting. 9/12
APPEARANCE: Seemingly opaque black with clear garnet highlights. Large tan frothy foam mostly dissipates. 2/3
FLAVOR: Mild palette initially. Subdued notes of fruit. Becomes quite bitter at the apex with coffee and roasted malt flavor. Finishes rather sweet with genuine oatmeal taste. Leaves a tobacco/roasted coffee aftertaste. Minor presence of oxidation. No distinctive hop flavor or bitterness. 12/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body and carbonation. Very smooth and comfortable, but feels slightly watery. Seems much more sessionable strength than 5.8% ABV. 3/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: A valiant effort for the style, but comes up a bit short. It is at least satisfactory. 6/10
TOTAL SCORE: 32/50
