COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Balance is what makes our Boont Amber Ale so unique: rich, crystal malts give this beer a deep copper hue and contribute a slight caramel sweetness while the herbal, spicy bitterness from carefully selected whole-cone hops impart a crisp, clean finish. Hints of sun toasted grain, toffee, and fruity esters compliment the mellow, noble hop aroma.

MALTS:
Pale Two-Row, Crystal (40L & 80L)

HOPS:
Columbus, Bravo, Northern Brewer, Mt. Hood

From a large bottle, pours with a medium head, minor lacing. Beautiful dark Amber ale, nice on the tongue. Definitely above average, nice for Friday afternoon relaxing. Worthy of your time and money.

Sweet caramel and toffee notes on the nose, the sweetness develops into a biscuit/shortbread freshness. Very clean, almost too sweet but balanced out by well used hops.

Draft at Bru Craft. Hazy medium-amber pour with thick white foam. Lots of lace. Creamy mouthfeel. Full caramel malts balanced with drying hops. Toffee pudding. Yellow plums. Golden raisins. Wet leaves. Portobello mushrooms. Spicy finish. Not spectacular but it works. Impressive for a session brew.

Ruby, amber coloured, big cream head. Tasts of caramel, dried bread, a touch of citrus. Very hoppy and nice bitters. Good flavour from the glass. I was positive suprised by this beer. A good quality pub beer.

Ambra con pochissima schiuma. Al naso molto fresca. Molto convincente al palato con equilibrio di malto. Bassa carbonazione.

This 22oz typifies what Anderson Valley does--for good or bad--they produce a better-than-average beer, but usually not great. For the price point, it is honestly not a bad value. Smooth, plenty of caramel, and unremarkable.

Didn’t expect anything, but pretty good indeed. Bought one bottle for 2$. Worth the price. Nice grassy, little citrus hoppy aroma and bready, caramel malty aroma. Little bit watery and light, but very balanced and drinkable.
