3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fluffy white head that quickly dissipated. Nose is all tart apple, green grape and Chardonnay. Good carbonation. Taste is tart up-front, moving into honeydew and cucumber, finishing clean and crackery. Pretty good overall.
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2018 Crisp finish on a great gose with a mild melon note. Good all day dinking for those who enjoy sours. Solid choice for an introductory gose jhsnitz1 (99) - Central, South Carolina, USA - DEC 31, 2017
Love the combination of sour Gose style with watermelon flavor. Good balance of sourness and watermelon. medium sweetness, medium sourness, salty, light body, average carbonation, NSNO (2) - - DEC 1, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 Really good example of a gose. Refreshing with the slightly salty taste working well with the melon. mjg74 (3238) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 28, 2017
Bottle from Albertsons. Clear pale straw in color. Salty nose with a touch of sweet fruitiness. Tart melon flavors up front with a bit of sweetness. Sippable and easy sipping. Pretty tasty. Stew41 (2139) - Phuket, THAILAND - OCT 27, 2017
Still need to get my head around the style but a welcome change from PA/IPA. Clean tang, sour lemon, good presence across the palate. Quite a light touch but far out so so suitable for cheeky arvo drinking.

Draught at The Brewdog bar, York. Hazy gold with white head. Well there is a sweet melon flavour to this from the off, but then a sharp tartness comes through, bittering. The saltiness is also apparent throughout but in a strangely refreshing way. Plenty of depth. Pretty decent. phaleslu (11068) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 30, 2017
12 oz. can from Clifton Market. Pours a clear pale gold with a fizzy white head that fizzles out completely after a short time. There isn't much to the aroma, and aside from a faint watermelon rind, it could pass for a pale lager. The aroma brings more of the same melon, with lemon, pale malts, and minerals. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a light, dry, barely tart mouthfeel. Not much there but I guess it's crushable and serves its purpose.
