Poured from tallboy to glass. Dark copper brown hue with thick tan head. Aroma is cereal, malt, slight sulphur, clove. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet followed by a nice spicy hop bitterness. Overall this is an enjoyable fall brew. aumentm (452) - North Carolina, USA - OCT 18, 2014
Very impressive. Good overall aroma and dark brown look. We’ll balanced and smooth throughout. The the taste was strong and was nice with a steak dinner. thegreenrooster (4485) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Pour is a dark brown with an average tan head. Aroma is some dark bready malt but not much after that. Flavor Is about the same. Some dark malt and an ever so slight chocolate. Overall watery and uninteresting. jb (3304) - Rochester, New York, USA - OCT 3, 2014
On tap in genesee. Billed as a Dunkel weizen. Dark sour and refreshing. Both Wally and I liked it. Not a lot going on but hit the spot. arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - SEP 29, 2014
Pour on tap at Blind Pig, dark reddish brown with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, bread, grass, some hints of lemon but mainly a malt forward beer with a slight hint of a hoppy note. Taste was a mix of grass, bread, caramel, toffee, hints of grainy notes with some red fruits, hints of spice, finishing dry, slightly sweet.

Can: The aroma consists of light-moderate toasted bread, light fruit, and a touch of chocolate. It pours a dark brown with orange transparency when held to the light. It has a two finger beige head that slowly fades to a thin film that leaves behind a decent amount of webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light-moderate fruit and light chocolate. The finish has some light toasted bread and molasses. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, this is a little sweet and isn’t working for me. slowrunner77 (12466) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 6, 2014
"Low level roast dominates the nose, with light bread, fruit. Looks good, big off white head. Body is avg. A bit thin as expected. Flavor pleasant...roasted malt, light fruit, dry finish. Mellow and easy drinking."

Rating #1042 - March 27, 2014 - @avbc tap takeover @revolutionYEG. Little bit of tan bubbly foam on a bodacious black brew. Lots of cool toasted malt chocolate coffee aromas. Palate is light crisp and full of flavour, but very light bodied. This is quaffable for damn sure. Beauty Stuu666 (14194) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 4, 2014
