COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a brilliant, deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, our Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish.

Bottle. Clear dark copper with small foamy beige head, faint pumpkin/caramel aroma, medium carbonation, pumpkin taste with some caramel background, thin body, abrupt finish. Not bad for a pumpkin ale.

Very good pumpkin beer! Deep amber with a thick, textured head. Good spice balance, vegetal though a bit more pumpkin would be welcome. Brown sugar and caramel malt base.

From 12 oz can, served in a pint glass. Healthy spicy aroma. Thin off white head. Some light lacing. Beer is a fairly dark amber color, darker than typical pumpkin ale. Plenty of spice notes.A little strong on the cinnamon. Could use a bit more pumpkin flavor, less cinnamon. A light bodied beer. Could use a bit more body. Average carbonation. Over all a decent pumpkin ale.

Rating #2196 - 2015.12.01 - Bottle #1 in the 2015 Craft BeerAdvent Calendar. Clear copper-amber pour, that produces a minimal bubbly foam even when poured aggressively. Aroma is potent, quite a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of pumpkin. Taste is malty and heavy on the nutmeg, hint of cinnamon, and sweet caramel. This is a pretty good seasonal, and despite the presence of fairly heavy flavours, it holds its balance. Lovely pumpkin ale.
