Robust. Brewed with a “heelch” (that means “a lot” in Boontling) of Columbus, Chinook, and Cascade hops, our double IPA has a palate pleasing bitterness that is artfully balanced with a full-bodied malt foundation. With a deep color of polished brass and a nose that sings of pink grapefruit and redwood needles, the rich biscuit-like malt flavors are intertwined with hints of vanilla, mangoes, and peppercorns leading to a deep, warming finish.

Bomber. Clear orange, solid cumulus white head fades to a foamy ring. Aroma is citrus fruity and floral. Nice fruity citrus hop bite, quite grapefruity, a little flowery, light roast caramel malt, some resinous pine. Average carbonation, medium bodied, more aggressively hopped. Fruity bitter herbal finish. Very nice. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Sampled at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. Hazy golden body with a fine white head. Strong and nice citric aroma with distinct malt, caramel and some pine. Flavor is sweet malty in good balance with the bitterness, caramel, citric fruit and some pine and marmalade. Fine body and long, sweet and bitter aftertaste. A really nice, smooth and distinct IPA. Outstanding.

On tap @ Beer Temple. A cartoon looking silly head on this. Just like the one you see in the cartoons really, fluffy white, big and really hanging in there. The nose has lots of sweet malty goodness. Some candy as well. Smells really nice. It’s definitely well hopped in the taste. Still the sweetness is almost dominant here. Really thick and malty on the palate with a soft to average carbonation level. A swirl of pine just rushes over my tongue after a while in the mouth. Sweet concentrated boiled down strawberries also comes to mind. Quite a good one! 26.09.2013

Poured from a 12 oz bottle, it’s hazy orange with a thin head. Aroma is citrus & floral, with a bit of pine & biscuit in the tasting. Nicely balanced with a slightly bitter-sweet aftertaste
