COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Blood Orange Gose is a tart, refreshing wheat ale that is kettle-soured with lactobacillus and brewed with sea salt and coriander. However, unlike traditional versions of the style, ours features liberal additions of blood oranges during fermentation. This imparts tangy citrus notes that complement the champagne-like flavors, creating a complex and sessionable ale perfect for any occasion.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Malted White Wheat
HOPS: Bravo

Dark straw tending toward pale honey color. Fruity aroma with some orange. The taste isn’t super spectalular but it has the requisite sour punch with the Gose salt finish. Pours with a nice head but it quickly disipates to a lifeless beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Almost clear golden with a small, fast disappearing white head. Fruity mineral aroma. Flavor is refreshing fruity, light acidic, some minerals, can't really find any oranges here. A bit plain and one dimensional but still a decent thirst quencher.

Light gold pour, no head. Nose is salt, yeast and background citrus. Across the tongue it is salty. Middle picks up with sour yeast, shows herbal effervesence, with some citrus. Finish is orange pith and sour.

Can 355ml (Beer Republic, BB 06/2018)
"Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose". A bit hazy pinky orange colour, tiny white head. Tartish blood orange nose. Light-bodied. Salty front, fruity blood orange, not too tart, more like citrusy flavour. Refreshing. Nice modern summer drink gose.

a good sour beer. If you are tired of the usual taste in beers being bitter then you must try this for a change. Aroma and taste is very much like an orange. Fizzy and Citrusy.

Leuk!

Ah ha, a sour for the unlikely warm October. The aroma is strongly sour and not much else. The appearance is a lagery slightly hazy orange with definite pee in the cup vibes. The taste is a chuggable whomp of sour with some solid citrus interlacing. It is an excellent gose and one I would regularly return to with wider availability. Good for a post Fuddruckers chill sesh wit your boo boo on the couch watching live TV for the first time in a while.
