The refreshing tartness in this divine, bright golden-colored ale gives way to earthy undertones and hints of citrus followed by a slight sea salt-like dryness and tangy, effervescent finish.

MALTS: Pale Two-Row, Malted White Wheat
HOPS: Bravo

Tasted on 7/15/14 from a 12oz can purchased at Green’s Buford. Pours clear, light orange with a thick white head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is wheaty malt with some tart citrus peel and a touch of vinegar, almost briny. The flavor is even more tart than the nose suggested with a very clean wheat malt, a lactic touch, and a very dry salty finish. The body is medium with an almost creamy texture, lively, filling carbonation, and a long tart and salty finish. This is by far the saltiest Gose I have had to this point.

Normally a great fan of Anderson Valley but this beer was far too sour for my taste.

In der Nase dunkle Beeren, Oliven. Im Trunk mittelsauer, auch hier wieder deutlich Olive, was mir sehr gut gefällt. Hinten etwas Malz. Prima Ding.

Bottle from an Albert Heijn in Ghent. Pours clear pale golden with a thinning, white head. The aroma contains yeast, barnyard, sugar, apple, bread, spices, dough, salt and kiwi. It tastes medium sour and light fruity sweet; faint hints of salt and even of a spicy bitterness. Some dough in the rather short finish; medium to light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. The more you drink, the more interesting it becomes.

Can bought at Pivny raj in Bratislava Slovakia. Golden green tea color. Head vanished quickly. Sour aroma and taste. White wine, vinegar, soir fruits. Low carbonation. Tasty!

Das Bier ist blass gelb-orange, leicht trüb mit weißem Schaum. Der Geruch ist säuerlich fruchtig. Geschmack ist fruchtig frisch zitronig-säuerlich und mineralisch. Schlanker und trockener Körper. Sehr erfrischend!

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, slight grainy. Dry, citric, fruity and mild sourish. Lingering fruity. Dry, citric and smooth fruity. Milky and dry finish.

Golden yellow, cloudy, small white head. Aroma is lemons. Light body, not much carbonation. Sour lemon and citrus flavor, a bit of sweetness. Objectively this is not bad although I am not into this style.

I had this on a boat in Amsterdam over the 4th of July and as far as easy drinking boat beers go, it’s got a fantastic flavor. It’s sour in a way that’s reminiscent of a grapefruit and there’s a citrusy note to the hoppy flavor that backs it up. Overall a nice beer.

Blonde coloured, with a slighty citrus aroma. Noticeble bravo hops. Balanced, a bit sour and salty.
